johanna's special friend

we have to show you pictures of gabrielle, johanna's special friend. johanna wears gabby's hand-me-downs (so did her mother when I was pregnant!), she plays with her hand-me-down toys, has her brother's crib, walker, excer-saucers, you name it, we have it. thanks to gabby and her mother coleen aka coco, we have been spoiled in our journey into being a family. it has been the best 14 1/2 months of our lives and we couldn't have done it without our friends and family.

we had a great time with gigi (Grandma Ginny), she was a mountian (grand)mama and roughed it with no indoor plumbing and just a (complicated) wood stove. that's dedication to be close to her grandbaby!

here's her florida sun-kissed cousins kayli and jake who johanna can't wait to play with! peyton, (hudson) and hailey are so silly, but beautiful alaskan girls. next is uncle dave and aunt renea, aunt carmen and uncle alex and their brood. keaton is quite the athlete, here's him stealing the ball! he is quite the fisherman too, he out-fished uncle bobby last summer.

johanna loves her family

johanna has a wonderful, loving family all over the world! we miss them all and thought you would all like to see who is special to her. trey is her newest smiley cousin and luke and lily are getting so big and cuter by the minute. we are so proud of hudson learning to ski so fast, hopefully he'll be able to teach jo when she's ready. johanna sat on uncle bill's lap for half an hour on easter listening to him sing irish love songs.

our new house is coming along...

house construction is consuming our free time and energy lately, but we are seeing progress.

we have been skiing at turner mountain in libby a lot this winter and johanna has made lots of new friends. at the "crazy days" celebration she came in 2nd in the costume contest, thanks to her good friend michelle on ski patrol who made her a tu-tu to wear!
